Our verdict
Bolabet suits Zambian punters who like a local brand with shops, all three mobile wallets and lots of regular promotions. Its footer now gives two licence numbers, it lists 21 betshops and a full set of phone lines, and it has an Android app and WhatsApp betting. There’s no welcome bonus on its promotions page, but the Friday Reload, Bonus on Events and Cash Back reward regular accumulator players well. Withdrawal limits and times still aren’t published.

Bolabet has an Android app, downloaded as an APK from its own app page rather than Google Play, so you need to allow installs from unknown sources. Bolabet is part of Bola Group, which also runs Bolabet in Malawi and Zimbabwe. It doesn’t publish a company registration number.
Responsible gambling
Bolabet’s site says no one under 18 may gamble and carries a “Winners know when to stop” message. Its promotions are limited to adults living in Zambia.
Operator, two licence numbers and shop addresses are published. It isn’t higher because there’s no company number and the BCLB isn’t named.
