betPawa review 2026: K1 deposits, a 1,250% Win Bonus and 25% weekly casino cashback

Our verdict

betPawa suits small-stakes punters who like accumulators and want a light, fast site. It publishes its company, address and licence numbers, takes deposits from K1 on all three mobile wallets and lets you bet from K0.01. There is no welcome bonus: instead you get a Win Bonus on every winning multi of three or more legs and 25% weekly cashback on casino losses, paid as cash. The trade-offs are a narrow sports menu (four sports), no published withdrawal limits or payout times, and no phone number or email for support.

We scored betPawa on the same five things as every bookmaker in our Log: licence, mobile money, bonus, betting markets and the app. It does best on mobile money and the app, and worst on bonuses, because there’s nothing for new customers. Our scores are below each section.

betPawa bonuses: no welcome offer, a Win Bonus on multis

Is there a betPawa welcome bonus?

No. betPawa doesn’t give new customers a deposit match or a free bet. Its promotions were the Win Bonus on accumulators, a weekly casino cashback and its Aviator page. If a welcome offer matters to you, see the alternatives further down.

Win Bonus: up to 1,250% on winning multis

The Win Bonus is betPawa’s main promotion. Put three or more selections on one betslip, each at odds of 1.20 or more, and if the whole slip wins betPawa adds a percentage on top of your winnings. The percentage grows with the number of legs, up to 1,250% at 60 legs. It works on all sports and markets, pre-match and live, and on betPawa Virtuals.

betPawa says the bonus is “calculated per bet with no fixed tables”, so there’s no published list of percentages for each number of legs. You see the exact figure on your betslip before you place the bet.

How the Win Bonus works, with an example

betPawa’s own example: if your multi wins K100 and the Win Bonus on that slip is 50%, you’re paid K150. The bonus is added to the winnings, so there’s nothing to roll over afterwards. Remember the 5% levy comes off when you withdraw.

1. Register with your mobile number and deposit from K1.
2. Add three or more selections to one betslip, each at odds of 1.20 or more.
3. Check the Win Bonus percentage shown on the betslip, then place the bet.
4. If every leg wins, the bonus is added on top of your winnings.

25% weekly casino cashback

If you play casino games, betPawa pays back 25% of your net losses every week as real cash. The cashback week runs Friday to Thursday and the money lands by the end of the following Friday. There’s no opt-in, no wagering, no minimum loss and no cap.

• Counts on all casino games except Virtual Sports.
• Only real-money bets on the website, mobile site or app count.
• Unused cashback expires after 90 days with no account activity.
• Running weekly “until further notice” since 8 June 2026.

How to register at betPawa

Signing up is one of the quickest in Zambia. The Join Now form asks for your mobile number and a password of at least four characters, and nothing else up front. betPawa’s help centre says you may be asked for personal details afterwards.

1. Go to betpawa.co.zm and tap Join Now.
2. Enter your mobile number without the +260 code.
3. Choose a password (betPawa’s help centre suggests a 4-digit one).
4. Accept the terms and tap Join Now.
5. Fill in your personal details if asked, then make your first deposit.

Verification and who can play

You must be 18 or over. betPawa’s terms say it may ask for documents to verify your identity, and that payouts to mobile money or a bank are only made to the person who owns the betPawa account. Register with the number on your own mobile money wallet so your withdrawals go through.

Sports betting at betPawa

Sports covered

betPawa’s menu has four sports: football, basketball, tennis and eFootball. Football dominates. There were 1,446 football events and 229 live, across the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, the Champions League and the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, among many others. The Zambia Super League wasn’t in its league menu.

If you bet on cricket, rugby, boxing or the NFL, you’ll need a second bookmaker.

Markets, 1UP and 2UP early payout

Football matches carry the usual markets, including 1X2, Over/Under, handicaps, Double Chance, Both Teams to Score and Correct Score. betPawa also offers 1UP and 2UP versions of 1X2: your team is paid out as a winner as soon as it goes one goal (1UP) or two goals (2UP) ahead, even if the match later ends level. The odds are slightly lower than standard 1X2 to pay for that.

Live betting and cash out

In-play betting covers the same four sports, with the score and minute on each match. betPawa’s rules include Cash Out, so you can settle some bets early.

Multis, match combos and booking codes

You can combine up to 60 selections on one betslip, which is where the Win Bonus tops out. The homepage shows “Popular Match Combos” that mix markets from one match, such as a result, a goals line and a goalscorer. You can also load a friend’s betslip with a booking code.

Virtual sports

betPawa listed 68 virtual games. Its own betPawa Leagues cover virtual English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, Dutch and Portuguese football. There are also games from Golden Race and Kiron, including virtual World Cup and African Cup tournaments, horse and dog racing and on-demand matches.

betPawa Virtuals count towards the Win Bonus, so a virtual multi can earn it too. Virtuals don’t count towards the casino cashback.

Casino, Aviator and crash games

The casino lobby

betPawa’s casino listed 3,042 games: 2,472 slots, 104 crash games, 69 live dealer tables, 45 table and card games and 53 scratch cards, plus 41 betPawa exclusives. There’s a Monster Mega Hit jackpot (K475,000) and Juicy Cash jackpot games.

Aviator on betPawa

Aviator is SPRIBE’s crash game: the multiplier rises until the plane flies away, and you cash out before it does. betPawa lists it at a 97% return to player, with bets from K0.01, two bets per round, auto bet and auto cash out, and a maximum win of K4,700,000 per round. Other crash games include JetX, Air Ace, Navigator and Fury Flight.

Live casino

The live casino has 69 tables, including Lightning Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, XXXtreme Lightning Baccarat, Bac Bo, Super Sic Bo and several roulette wheels. Casino play counts towards the 25% weekly cashback.

Deposits and withdrawals

betPawa takes Airtel Money, MTN MoMo and Zamtel Money. Each wallet has its own deposit page, and all three accept K1 to K20,000 per deposit. Telco fees apply on top.

How to deposit online

1. Log in and open Deposit.
2. Choose Airtel, MTN or Zamtel.
3. Enter an amount from K1 to K20,000 and tap Deposit.
4. Approve the request that pops up on your phone with your mobile money PIN.

How to deposit with Airtel USSD

Airtel users can also deposit without opening the site, which helps on a weak connection:

1. Dial *115# for the Airtel Money menu.
2. Select 4, Make Payment, then 3, Betting Services, then 5, BetPawa.
3. Enter the amount and confirm.
4. Enter your mobile money PIN. You’ll get an SMS when it’s done.

Withdrawals

The withdrawal page is only visible when you’re logged in, so betPawa doesn’t publish its minimum or maximum withdrawal or how long payouts take. Its terms say you can withdraw at any time once deposits have cleared and any identity checks are done, and that money only goes to a wallet in the account holder’s name. Taxes required by law are taken from winnings before they’re credited.

The 5% levy

Since 1 January 2026 the Betting Levy Act takes 5% of every deposit into and withdrawal from an online betting account. Here is what that means at betPawa:

Android app

The Android app is downloaded from betpawa.co.zm rather than Google Play, so you’ll need to allow installs from unknown sources. betPawa says it’s only 1.85MB and uses less data than the website, which matters on a small phone or a small bundle.

iPhone app and home-screen web app

There’s an iPhone app on the App Store. For Android there’s also a home-screen web app that adds betPawa to your phone like an app but uses barely any storage.

Mobile site

The website itself is built like an app: one narrow column with Sports, Live, Casino and Virtuals tabs, and the betslip one tap away. It loads quickly, and the deposit pages are short enough to use on a slow connection.

Is betPawa licensed and safe?

betPawa Zambia is operated by Betbio Zambia Limited (company no. 120170001929), Suite FF 02-4, 4 on Bishops, Lusaka. Its site lists Licence nos. 0000056, 0001155 and CL-001083/2-2026.

betPawa says you can set limits and self-exclude at any time, and its pages carry an 18+ warning that betting is addictive. If betting stops being fun, use those tools, and talk to someone you trust.

betPawa doesn’t publish a phone number or email. Instead you request a callback from its help page: enter your number, pick Deposit, Withdrawal, Betslip or Other, and it says to expect a call in 0–5 minutes. You can also message it on Facebook Messenger or Telegram. Its help centre covers sign-up, password resets, bet settlement and statements.
